F-Forgiveness: Everybody needs it – we have ALL messed up.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way. (Isaiah 53:6a); For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23),
A-Available: Forgiveness is available but it is not automatic.
For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16); Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt 7:21a).
I-Impossible: It's impossible to enter God's Heaven with sin in our lives. There is nothing we can do to save ourselves.
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Rev 21:27). But your sin has separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you. (Isaiah 59:2) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)
T-Turn: We must turn away from all those things in our lives that are outside of God's will.
But unless you repent you will all likewise perish (Luke 13:3b). But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)
H-Heaven: God wants to give us eternal life in the Hereafter, and He promises to give us abundant life in the here and now!
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:3); I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10b).
It is only through trusting Jesus, that we can come to God. Admit to God that you are a sinner. Express sorrow or repentance for your sinfulness. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Invite Jesus into your life as Savior and Lord. Thank Him for entering your life. Commit yourself to live for Him.
